Caucasus International University Faculty of Business and Technology will host planned events within the framework of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2023/GEW on November 15-17.
GEW is an international campaign which aims at facilitating and encouraging an ecosystem of entrepreneurs. About 200 countries have taken part within the framework of the week, every year, since 2008 – to present.
Universities from different countries, including Georgia, take part in the week.
The “Idea Bank” platform offers forms of the events that universities have the opportunity to participate in during the week. It is in connection with these and other issues that CIU Faculty of Business and Technology cooperates with the representatives of the Global Entrepreneurship Network in Georgia; therefore, the events planned at the university within the week suit the Idea Bank platform.

Increasing Creativity Capacity – “Creative Thinking - I Will Create out of It”
The course is led by business trainer - Ia Nadirashvili.
The aim of the event is to develop creative thinking, generate ideas and obtain an innovative product through various creative techniques.
Initially, students will be given a master class on creative techniques, which they will later use during teamwork.
In the workshop part, students will be given various, thematically different items, so they will try to get a new product.

Pitch Competition / Startup Challenge - Presentation of the Ideas Entered in the Incubator
The course is led by business trainer - Shalva Otanadze.
The Pitch Competition envisages the processing of ideas introduced in the “Business Incubator” and their effective presentation (pitching) in 1 minute.

Startup Culture in the Classroom / Exhibition - Closing of the Week - Invited Entrepreneurs
The event envisages an exhibition where invited entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to present their products. Also, entrepreneurs will introduce themselves and make a speech. They will share their experience with the audience and participate in a panel discussion.
