The official visit of the delegation from the University of Gdańsk, Poland to Caucasus International University continues. On June 18, the delegation members met with Professor Kakhaber Kordzaia the university Rector. During the meeting, both parties reviewed the achieved outcomes and discussed prospects for deepening future collaboration.
Within the framework of the visit, the guests explored CIU Multimedia Center, including the university modern TV and radio studios, editing rooms, and the newly established multimedia student space.
The delegation also visited the Faculty of Law, where they met with Professor George Khatidze, Dean of the Faculty. The guests were introduced to the faculty infrastructure and academic environment. They also toured the Criminalistics Auditorium, the Mock Trial Hall, and the Justice Auditorium.
The next stop was the Faculty of Business, where Professor Ketevan Nanobashvili, Dean of the Faculty welcomed the guests and presented the faculty innovative learning and practical training facilities, including the UN Sustainable Development Goals Laboratory and a mock bank.
Within the framework of the visit, the delegation also visited the Faculty of Medicine. Coordinators led a tour of the Clinical Skills Center, as well as the Simulation and Virtual Reality (VR) Laboratory.
The guests also visited the English Language and Literature Room of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, where they were thoroughly introduced to the specifics of the educational process and teaching methodology. At the end of the day, a meeting was held with the faculty professors, during which the parties discussed potential joint projects and future plans for collaboration.
The delegation is scheduled to visit the Faculty of Viticulture and Enology on June 19, where they will be introduced to the faculty infrastructure and academic programs in detail.
