On June 3–4, Caucasus International University Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service, in collaboration with the Faculty of Business and Technology, organized a training session on the topic “Technological Mind: AI Possibilities”. The event aimed to increase students’ awareness and engagement in cutting-edge technological innovation processes.
The training was conducted by Professor Giorgi Kakashvili, Doctor of Engineering in Informatics and Head of CIU Bachelor’s Educational Program in Information Technologies.
Within the framework of the training, participants gained theoretical knowledge on the principles of artificial intelligence, including the structure and functioning of neural networks, as well as key methods in machine learning and deep learning.
In the practical component, students independently built small-scale AI models that integrated computer vision, audio analysis, and motion sensor technologies. These models could recognize images, interpret audio signals, and detect movement in real time—making the technology more tangible for students.
