On May 23, the Faculty of Business and Technology at Caucasus International University (CIU) hosted Professor Sandeep Guleria, Head of the Department of Tourism at Chandigarh University (India).
This visit has been organized by CIU Tourism Laboratory for the second time within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed with Chandigarh University.
During the lecture held for students, the professor discussed the specifics of forming a tourism product, examined the importance of its components, and addressed issues related to its marketing and demand. Additionally, the speaker placed emphasis on current trends, challenges, and prospects in the international tourism market.
Within the framework of the visit, a meeting was held with Ketevan Nanobashvili, the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Technology at CIU. The parties discussed ongoing collaboration and future prospects. It is noteworthy that, in agreement with Lali Mikeladze, Head of CIU Bachelor’s Educational Program in Tourism, the Indian professor is scheduled to participate in the “Tourism Week” organized by CIU Tourism Laboratory in October of this year.
Please note that Chandigarh University, which has around 60,000 students, ranks among the top three private universities in India.
