On June 20, Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze, Caucasus International University Chancellor met with the members of the university futsal club. During the warm gathering, the Chancellor thanked the Georgian champions for the productive season and the dedication that each player has demonstrated.
The meeting was moderated by Zurab Kavtaria, Club Manager, CIU Youth, Sports and Culture Service Coordinator, who summarized the past season, highlighted the team’s achievements, and thanked the university leadership for their continued support.
During the meeting, coaches and players of the futsal club also delivered speeches expressing their gratitude.
By the decision of the University Chancellor, the CIU futsal club will receive a substantial reward in recognition of their Georgian championship title.
As a reminder, Caucasus International University futsal team won the 2024–2025 national futsal league, earning not only the title of Georgian champions but also qualification for the UEFA Futsal Champions League. In this prestigious tournament, the “Caucasians” will compete against champion teams from across Europe.
