On May 15–16, a concluding workshop on the internationalization of higher education in Georgia was held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Tbilisi.
Nana Parinos, PhD, Associate Professor and Head of the Bachelor’s Program in English Language and Literature, a fellow of the Free University of Berlin represented Caucasus International University at the workshop.
It is noteworthy that Nana Parinos contributed to the development of the English for Specific Purposes (ESP) module. She presented her authored curriculum during the workshop. The curriculum is now publicly available to all interested individuals.
In total, seven modules were developed within the framework of the project: Entrepreneurship; Medical English; Legal English; Visual Communication in Arts and Sciences; Business English; Maritime English; Academic Writing.
The development of the above-mentioned modules took place over a 15-month period within the framework of this project. It was implemented with the support of University College London, the World Bank, the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, and the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement of Georgia.
