On May 23-25, the 5th International Scientific Conference: Politology of Religion: V Bi-Annual Conference 2025 was held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. The event was organized by the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Belgrade, the international peer-reviewed Politics and Religion Journal, and the Center for the Study of Religions and Religious Tolerance.
Giorgi Pareshishvili, Advisor to the Rector of Caucasus International University and Doctor of Political Science, participated in the conference. He was engaged in a roundtable discussion alongside scholars from Serbia, Turkey, and Israel, where they explored the interaction between politics and religion in their respective countries. Giorgi Pareshishvili also delivered a presentation on the topic: “Protestantism as a Key Factor in the Success of the West”.
The international conference brought together researchers from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Israel, Hungary, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Poland, Portugal, over 30 countries representing leading higher education institutions.
